“I decided in Grade 8 to choose subjects that I loved and that would open doors for me in the future. I truly did love my schoolwork.”
She captained the St Mary’s rowing team and spoke enthusiastically of the sense of camaraderie in the team and how it demanded support from every team member.
“It is a sport in which I learned so much about myself and my teammates.”
She said attending St Mary’s was an exceptional experience because it was a fantastic school where every learner mattered.
“After writing my last exam, I felt nothing but a huge sense of relief that exams were behind me. It was only later that I realised my school days were over forever, and the emotion of leaving triggered it and I will not forget my five years at the school.”
