Parkview Senior School hosted a successful swimming gala

The final points put Eagles in fourth place with 86 points, Kestrels in third with 87 points, Hawks came in second with 100 points and Falcons took the cup with 111 points in total.

Learners brought their best breaststroke and butterfly swimming techniques at Parkview Senior School’s swimming gala on January 20.

Teacher Christine De Vos said the learners brought their A-game.

“The school spirit was electric, and the competition was fierce between rival Hawks in red, and the Falcons in blue. The final points put Eagles in fourth place with 86 points, Kestrels in third with 87 points, Hawks came in second with 100 points and Falcons took the cup with 111 points in total.”

De Vos added that the Eagles and Kestrels won the spirit award and put their hearts and voices into supporting their swimmers.

She concluded and congratulated medley winner, Elijah Steel and Alexa Lockhart Barker for their performances.

“The junior victor Ludorum was shared by Khayaan Dayaram and Uthmaan Dhoodat and the Victrix Ludorum winner was Ayanda Ndlozi. The Senior Victor Ludorum was awarded to Jude Green and Senior Victrix Ludorum went to Ella Kelly.”
