Parkview SAPS and joint law enforcement launch festive season operation

Parkview SAPS will have a high visibility during the festive season.

It’s all systems go for Parkview SAPS and joint law enforcement agencies this festive season.

Speaking in Craighall Park on December 3, Parkview Police Station Commander Colonel Devan Govender said the police were ready to work with the community during the festive season.

“SAPS Parkview with other law enforcement [agencies] and the CPF, CPF patrollers and CPF mounted unit are ready to police the Parkview policing precinct during the festive season to keep all the communities and visitors safe. Disruptive operations will be held and stop and searches.”

Deputy CPF chairperson Wayne Lurie said, “This day is very exciting for us because we are launching our equestrian patrollers which is a project that the Parkview Police Station Commander initiated a few months ago. Apart from high visibility, we think it will impact crime along the spruit during the festive season.”
