Reading the Torah together

King David Victory Park Primary School learners recently experienced the magic of learning about the Torah together.

On the day, the school also had the pleasure of a visit from Chief Rabbi Warren Goldstein who came and chatted with the families about signing up for the Shabbat Project.

The Shabbat Project is described as an international grassroots movement that brings together Jews from all walks of life and all levels of observance to keep one Shabbat, celebrated in a spirit of global Jewish unity.

First launched in South Africa in 2013, the Shabbat Project has, through a team of volunteer partners, spread to more than 1 500 cities and 100 countries.
