On the morning of September 8, Ward 117 councillor Tim Truluck woke up to a notification that a burglary had occurred at the Parkhurst Clinic. This took place the night before at 20:00 on September 7.
City of Joburg’s Regional Health deputy director for Region B, Zanozuko Mbane said three computers had been taken. “There was a case opened at the police station.

“It didn’t affect us that much because the central office managed to replace the stolen laptops temporarily. Therefore, service delivery is continuing as normal.
“We managed to fix the door which was broken during the burglary. At the moment everything is back to normal, in fact, it just took us that one day and on the second day we managed to fix everything.”

Parkview Police Station spokesperson Captain Tintswalo Sibeko confirmed that they are investigating a case of business-breaking and theft that occurred at Parkhurst Clinic.
