Known as Joburg’s fastest 10k because of the way the route is structured, the race returned after being held virtually last year due to Covid-19, this time to its new time slot in September to make use of the warmer spring weather.
Men in the top three were winner Nicholas Seoposengwe, second Lucky Mohale and third Chris Mhlanga. Women in the top three were winner Emma Pallant, second Eulali Gouws and third Mattie Webb.
