St Teresa’s school announces new ambassadors

Newly selected ambassadors at St Teresa’s School to participate in an international programme.

St Teresa’s School in Rosebank was proud to announce their 2022/2023 ambassadors.

The announcement shared by computer educator and marketing liaison Lianda May was made on September 7. Jodi Wilde, Lisakhanya Tshili, Ratidzo Furamera and Uyanda Ngobese were selected as the ambassadors.

May said the girls went through a rigorous selection process which included a written application as well as two rounds of interviews with a panel of teachers including St Teresa’s High School principal Elsa de Bod and former high school principal Sister Barbara Sumner.

May added, “They will be travelling to Dublin, Ireland, in July 2023, to Mercy International, where they will participate in an international programme with learners from Mercy schools around the world.

“They will start their fundraising and preparation campaign in September. Congratulations Rosies!”
