Craighall Park hosts the South African Parenting Programme Implementers Network

"Collaboration and networking is important because NGO’s work in silos so let’s bring the parenting topic to the forefront."

On the week of September 09, the South African Parenting Programme Implementers Network (SAPPIN) held a discussion with stakeholders to share insights on how this network of NGOs is committed to supporting parents.

Speaking at Craighall Park, CEO of Mthimkhulu Trust, Kaathima Ebrahim said there were three problematic levels Saapin tried to tackle.

“Families have brokenness and we need is to figure out how to support them. Secondly, in the sectors that are serving these families 98% of social services in SA are all run independently by NGO’s which also needs support to continue working with families. Thirdly, at the government level; they have great policies but need help implementing them.”
