The South African Sprint Championships, for paddlers from throughout the country, recently took place at Roodeplaat Dam. The teams were identified at the event for selection to the national team to represent South Africa at upcoming international sprint events.
Sprints are short, fast races, an Olympic discipline, and are highly respected internationally.
Numerous paddlers from the Rosebank area participated at the event, with many achieving exceptional results:
