Braai fanatics are in for a treat for The Ultimate Braai Master in October

The Ultimate Braai Master will take place at Montecasino from October 25-27.

Comedian and MasterChef Chris Forrest launched an event for braai fanatics, The Ultimate Braai Master at Delta Café and Don Quixote in Craighall Park.

Proudly sponsored by Mix 93.8 and Six Gun Grill, the event promises a weekend filled with delectable braai food, sizzling hot demonstrations, fantastic entertainment, and an unparalleled expo filled with anything and everything to do with braaing.

Family, friends, novices, and braai master pros will all be able to indulge in a weekend of spectacular food and drink, gear, demos, spices, accessories, entertainment, and fun.

Forrest said, “This incredible three-day event hits all the marks on what South Africans love – sun, braai entertainment, and healthy competition around the fire. You get a look at the best equipment, learn from the best, eat the best food, compete with the best, and drink craft beer and wine.”

Nicci Smit from Mix 93.8 added the radio station was proud to partner with the feast of fire and food, and the event fell on a perfect weekend for family and friends.

On the bill are top comedians partnering with top braai masters such as Pete Goffe-Wood and Benny Masekwameng, to keep bellies full and laughing.

The event will include:

  • Interactive entertainment (cook-offs, challenges, and more)
  • A huge expo with the latest braai products and accessories

  • Braai competition – with the opportunity to be a judge.

Tickets for the event are available on Quicket with Early Bird Tickets available until August 25. General access tickets include access to all demos and vendor stalls.

The VIP tickets include access to all demos and vendor stalls, a VIP goodie bag, and a VIP entrance (no queuing to get in).

The judging tickets are limited to three per day, event access on the day of judging only, access to all demos, a VIP goodie bag, an exclusive judging T-shirt, a judging course by one of our braai masters, beverages during the judging process, and exclusive tastings.
