St Teresa’s High School celebrated a night of artistic brilliance and community spirit at their annual ST*Ar Awards evening, showcasing an impressive array of talent from learners and teachers alike.

St Teresa’s High School recently hosted its highly anticipated annual ST*Ar Awards evening, a celebration that illuminated the campus with a dazzling display of talent and creativity. Aptly themed: What A Night at St Teresa’s Disco, the event transformed the school’s auditorium into a vibrant stage where learners and teachers showcased their artistic skills.

From the moment the curtains rose, the audience was treated to a spectacular array of performances, kicking off with the infectious rhythms of the Chamber Choir.

Lisemelo Mphakalasi captivated the audience with her soulful rendition of Misty, while the harmonious voices of Lea Human and Lynn Tapera earned them thunderous applause with Love You in the Dark.

The stage came alive with gripping drama performances delivered by Lea Human and Erin Williams, showcasing their theatrical talents and storytelling finesse. The Grade 12 dance crew engrossed the audience with their dynamic and synchronised moves, leaving a permanent mark on the evening.

In the realm of poetry and spoken word, Alissa Kanyika and Lwandle Nyobole mesmerised with their heartfelt poetry performance, while Mia Hammann moved hearts with her evocative written poetry.

Adding to the evening’s charm were the teachers, who surprised everyone with their spirited rendition of Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance, showcasing their hidden talents and bringing laughter and joy to all.
