The Parktown Girls’ netball 1st team achieved a significant milestone by placing second in the school league and showcasing remarkable talent and resilience in the recent school netball playoffs.

Their first play-off match against Fochville was a resounding success, ending with a confident 31–18 victory. This win secured their place in the second round and boosted their morale ahead of a challenging series of matches.

On May 31 and June 1, the team travelled to Ruimsig, eager to compete for the top spot in Gauteng. Their first match was a nail-biter against Hoërskool Linden. In a game with spectators on the edge of their seats, Parktown emerged victorious with a close 24–22 win. However, the following matches proved to be more challenging. Despite their best efforts, the team lost to Northcliff High School, Hoërskool Florida, and TrinityHouse Randpark Ridge.
