Wanderers Cricket Club put their best feet forward in recent T20 final games

Big Bom Lenasia chased the score down scoring 187/5 in 19.4 overs. Wanderers Cricket Club lost by 5 wickets.

Clapping and cheering dominated the DP World Wanderers Stadium on May 4 and 5.

Wanderers Cricket Club and Big Bom Lensasia Cricket Club fans came out in numbers to support players in their respective teams.
Wanderers competed in three of the four T20 finals at the bullring including the club’s women’s premier team which competed in the Cricket South Africa T20 Club Champs.
In Saturday’s men’s game, Wanderers scored 183/6 in 20 overs with Murray Workman scoring 94 of 57 balls.

Big Bom Lenasia chased the score down scoring 187/5 in 19.4 overs, winning by five wickets.
Sunday’s game saw Wanderers take on Wits. Wits batted first and scored 170/4 in 20 overs.

Wanderers only managed 134/9 and lost by 36 runs.
There was a notable performance by Wanderers and Lions player Delano Potgieter who smashed 41 of 21 balls.
