St Teresa’s School prioritises those in need by donations

St Teresa's School encourages the community to support the cause by dropping off any school shoes, takkies or stationery items to help children in need.

Reflecting the spirit of mercy instilled by St Teresa’s School, the senior primary families came together to support children in need by providing essential items such as shoes and stationery for the upcoming year.

Marketing and communications manager Lianda May said, “Through their generosity, children who lack access to these necessities for their education will be equipped to embark on their academic journey with dignity and confidence.”

Senior primary school principal Lindsey Verster noted that the school was grateful to its Rosie families for their unwavering commitment to the school’s mercy values.

Verster added, “Their contributions demonstrate the spirit of compassion and serve as a testament to the strong sense of community that defines St Teresa’s.”

The donated shoes and stationery will make a tangible difference in the lives of children who may have otherwise gone without. By giving back to their wider community, St Teresa’s learners and families exemplify the service and compassion ethos underpinning the school’s mission.

Verster thanked the people who participated in this initiative. “Your generosity embodies the true essence of mercy, and together, we are making a meaningful impact on the lives of others.”

St Teresa’s School encourages the community to continue supporting this worthy cause by dropping off any school shoes, takkies or stationery items to help further uplift children in need. Donations can be dropped off at St Teresa’s Senior Primary School, 14 Keyes Avenue, Rosebank.
