The stands and gazebos at Old Edwardian Football Club were filled with loud cheers from proud parents on October 21 for the club’s prize-giving ceremony.
U8 coach, Thanyani Mashamba said the club’s teams had a successful season.
Mashamba added the teams managed to clinch seven titles this season which included:
- U7 super league champions
- U8 super league cup, Marlboro cup and Sao Paolo cup
- U12 division 1 league champions
- U13 division 2 league champions
- U17 plate cup champions.
“I hope our teams will be boosted with more quality coaches and players. I would also like to see the standard of soccer improve in the next season.”
