Several roads remain closed in the Joburg CBD post-explosion
Motorists and residents are urged to use alternative routes during this time.
Following the underground explosion in the Johannesburg Central Business District (CBD) on July 19, several roads will remain closed until further notice.

According to the Joburg North Joint Operation Centre (JOC) consisting of CPFs from Alexandra, Midrand, Sandton, Bramley and Sandringham, the following roads will be closed:
- Harrison, Loveday and Rissik streets
- Between Plein and Rahima Moosa streets
- Bree /Lilian Ngoyi Street
- Between Eloff and Simmonds street
- Simmonds Street
- Between Gwigwi Mrwebiand and Rahima Moosa streets.
