DP World Lions cricketer Raisibe Ntozakhe stresses the importance of setting goals

DP World Lions cricketer Raisibe Ntozakhe reflects on her career.

Ntozakhe says that she enjoys playing the sport professionally especially because it is popular around the world.

“My life as a female cricketer in this era is pretty amazing because women’s cricket has grown so much all around the world. I love that one can make a career out of it because it is now a professional sport.”

The DP World cricketer noted that the importance of setting dreams and goals for herself was to measure her success in the form of weekly, monthly, and yearly achievements.

Raisibe concluded that disappointments were obstacles that a person encountered on a daily basis.

“As an athlete when disappointments happen, I think the crucial thing that knocks my mind is the comeback factor that you need to have. After my bowling action rehabilitation, there were points where I thought I wouldn’t bowl in international cricket games anymore, but I had to find the courage and a positive mindset.”
