A planned power outage is scheduled to take place which will affect selected streets in Parkwood near Zoo Lake on July 29.
According to Ward 117 councillor Tim Truluck, the outage is scheduled to begin at 9:00 and last until 18:00 the same day.
Truluck said, “The power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on our network which is part of our programme of constantly striving to provide better service.”
The following roads will be affected:
- Northwold Road.
- West Avonwold Road.
- Jan Smuts Avenue South
- Jan Smuts Avenue West
- Lower Park Drive.
