A beautiful gift on an annual Kairos movie night
A caretaker's wife at a local school in Parkview gives birth to a healthy bouncing baby at the school premises.
Priding itself in inquiry, mastery, and harmony, Kairos School of Inquiry was blessed by a healthy, beautiful baby girl on June 23.
Just as school movie night was about to begin, Kuda Munene, the wife of YoungSon Munene, a caretaker at the school, gave birth to their baby Tikvah on the school’s premises.
Mwenya Chitambala, marketing liaison of Kairos School of Inquiry, said the baby was overdue by a week, and midwife Connie Nyabana of Genesis Maternity Clinic had advised them to go for an induction.
“The midwife offered to support them with home birth services at a very generous discount, and this all happened on the day of the annual Kairos movie night.”
She said the parents had previously suffered a loss of a baby and Tikvah’s entrance into the world was a special moment because Kairos learners had been excited for her arrival.
“The Kairos learners have been bringing old toys and clothes to help them [parents] get started with the big adventure of parenting and a huge congratulations to the Munene family for the birth of their beautiful daughter.”
