Suburbs receive improved electricity services

Residents in Dunkeld and Parkhurst are set to receive improved electricity services.

The residents of Dunkeld and Parkhurst received some improvements to their electrical infrastructure.

MMC of Environment Infrastructure Service Michael Sun and his team installed three brand new ring main units costing about R300 000 each in Dunkeld.

Sun said this infrastructure investment of R1.2 million would improve electricity services in the area.

In Parkhurst, a new R750 000 transformer fitted with a row of new high voltage trips switches was installed.
Sun said, “This infrastructure replacement project is valued at R 1.5 million and will reduce power outages to the benefit of the residents in the area.”
