Stand up and laugh
The Bank in Rosebank is set to host comedy events until September.
Comedy lovers are in for a treat every last Saturday of the month.
The Comedy Bank campaign, which launched on April 28 at The Bank in Rosebank, has five more shows on offer with the final show of the event to take place in September.
Social media and business development manager of Comedy Bank, Angelique-Mari Forman, shared that the campaign is proudly sponsored by Pernod Ricard SA and is supported by Fitch and Leedes Mixers as well as Goliath and Goliath.
On April 28, audience members laughed their lungs out when, among others, Jason Goliath, Lihle Msimang and Mojak Lehoko took the comedy stand. Attendees also enjoyed a dinner which comprised teriyaki chicken, pulled lamb tacos, tempura prawns and more with macarons, chocolate brownie torte and boozy bonbons for dessert.
For the next event, on May 28, attendees can expect comedy legends such as Celeste Ntuli and Tats Nkonzo in the line-up. There will be several competitions available for entry on the night.
