As part of the Easter celebrations, Park Care Centre hosted one of its many exciting entertainment events for its residents.
The event took place on April 13 in the centre’s gardens. Lionel Huntley, a performer, entertained residents with his music and singing.
Business development officer for Park Care Jaqui Smith said the event aimed to spoil the residents and celebrate Easter by taking the residents down memory lane through music. It was also to enhance the quality of nursing care and social care for the lives of their vulnerable fragile residents.
“Although some residents were unable to leave their rooms, this kind of day gave the residents a reason to come out and enjoy,” Smith added.
“The event was a success and it brought joy and old memories to the residents. “Park Care thanks the generous support of donors assisting us in accomplishing our vision, and mission also in making this event possible.”
Regina Moloto, a social worker said, “This is one of the best days for the Park Care residents. Most of them love music and by the looks on their faces today one can tell fun was had.”
