Easter celebrations evoke old memories for Park Care residents

A local charity organisation hopes to host many events such as this one in the next holidays in order to bring joy and excitement to the residents.

As part of the Easter celebrations, Park Care Centre hosted one of its many exciting entertainment events for its residents.

The event took place on April 13 in the centre’s gardens. Lionel Huntley, a performer, entertained residents with his music and singing.

Business development officer for Park Care Jaqui Smith said the event aimed to spoil the residents and celebrate Easter by taking the residents down memory lane through music. It was also to enhance the quality of nursing care and social care for the lives of their vulnerable fragile residents.

“Although some residents were unable to leave their rooms, this kind of day gave the residents a reason to come out and enjoy,” Smith added.
