Support Park Care Centre’s Easter drive
Smith said donations will be used to make the day more meaningful for residents.
Park Care Centre, based in Parktown West, is requesting community support for their upcoming Easter celebration on April 13.
Residents at Park Care will be entertained by talented musician Lionel Huntley through music and song.
Business development officer at Park Care Centre Jaqui Smith said, “Your contribution is needed to adorn the Easter tree of hope, love and joy to blossom in every 24/7 nursing care-dependent soul.”
Smith said while Easter has a different meaning for every individual, it remains a glamorous event celebrated worldwide each year.
Donations of Easter eggs, cupcakes, cakes, gifts and other goodies from the public will be embraced by residents at the centre.
Smith said donations will be used to make the day more meaningful for residents.
“Thank you for your priceless gesture of kindness that spreads hope during tough times,” said Smith.
