St Mary’s School Waverley wins the Inter-High Premier Gala

WAVERLEY – The St Mary’s swimming team had a successful season, also winning the Summer Splash and National Aquatics Festivals.

Following a 19-year drought, the A team swimmers at St Mary’s School Waverley finally brought home the Inter-High Premier Gala trophy home.

St Mary’s last won the trophy in 2003 when current coach Cindy Brown was captain of the team. In 2010, the school lost by one point and again by two points in 2011.

Not to be outdone, the St Mary’s School Waverley B swimming team swam into second place in the A gala. They were beaten by the strong team at Brescia House School.
