Parktown Girls give of their time to spread love

PARKVIEW – Learners received a lesson in line dancing from one of the residents.

Parktown Girls community service learners celebrated Valentine’s Day with residents of Rose Retirement Village on February 12.

Teacher in charge of community service Narisha Govender said, “A morning that started with a delicious tea and a programme of romantic poetry and classical love songs turned into an afternoon of shared stories, interesting conversations and a line dancing lesson from one of the residents.”

Govender thanks the learners and their parents who contributed to making the Valentine’s Day tea a success.
