DSJ learner plants trees

PARKTOWN – Despite being unable to plant the trees due to Covid-19 restrictions last year, Daniel Betsalel was able to plant the trees this year.

The 2021 Grade 4 class at the Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg studied the theme of environmental protection last year.

One learner, Daniel Betsalel, came up with the idea to raise funds within the primary school and plant some trees.

Due to the various Covid-19 restrictions last year, local trees could not be planted, however, Daniel’s perseverance paid off and he was able to plant three new trees in the school parking area this year.
