Wellness is celebrated

WESTCLIFF – Everyone was encouraged to walk, run and in some cases jump!

Staff members at Saxonwold Primary School began the new month with wellness activities.

Head of Innovation at the school Frankie Cilliers shared that as part of the school’s commitment to ensuring a healthy and happy work environment, the staff will take part in fitness/wellness events after their staff meetings every Tuesday.

“On February 1, our team took on the Westcliff steps! It was lovely to unite in the name of fitness and wellness and a big thank you goes out to the organising team, acting principal Jadi Mgandela, Gillian Forbes and Rebecca Kannemeyer for organising these events,” Cilliers shared.

“We all hopped onto the Saxonwold Primary School bus and driver Aubrey Dhlamini took us to the event in true Saxonwold style! It was very challenging, but teamwork and commitment helped us reach our goals.”
