Community members are invited to join Hirsch’s’ virtual weekly entrepreneurship workshops.
The dynamic duo of executive director of Hirsch’s Homestores Margaret Hirsch and top business coach with ActionCOACH Marlene Powell are determined that the burgeoning number of entrepreneurs coming into South Africa will find gems of wisdom from the weekly workshops.
The duo invites top speakers from a variety of sectors in the business community to share their insights.
According to PR and media consultant for Hirsch’s, Glenda Thompson, the feedback on the content of the talks from attendees has been encouraging.

Speakers at the last two events included Neale Petersen, founder of Real Estate Investor, and Dimakatso Moloantoa, founder of Amari Communications and marketing manager of Wurth South Africa.
During her discussion, Neale said that the future of business is likely to be navigated in the metaverse.
“The exciting thing is that it gives you the feeling that you are in a meeting scenario in person. It is a new canvas for the human imagination,” said Petersen.
Moloantoa gave an insightful presentation on the four stages of getting people to fall in love with your business, which she says is similar to going on a date.
“There is the talking phase (brand identity), the honeymoon phase (brand meaning), the decision phase (brand response) and the commitment phase (brand resonance). It’s easy to get what you’re looking for – if you know what your target market is looking for,” said Moloantoa.
“If you get your positioning and branding right, you won’t have to negotiate on price. Be yourself, be authentic, show that you care and be honest. Stay in love with your own brand,” advised Moloantoa.
