Police offer reward for information leading to attempted murder suspects’ arrest

PARKVIEW – A reward of R250 000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of individuals involved in the attempted murder incident that took place in Parkhurst in September.

Parkview police are appealing to members of the public to assist with information that could lead to the arrest of suspects who were involved in an attempted murder of Bert van den Berg.

According to Parkview Police Station Sergeant Moeketsi Ramakatsa said the victim was shot outside his home in Parkhurst in mid-September, whilst driving a black BMW 530d, in an apparent botched robbery. The suspects were driving a silver VW Polo with false number plates.

A reward of R250 000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of individuals involved in the attempted murder incident.

Sergeant Ramakatsa said the police have been on the lookout for these perpetrators since the incident was reported. “We are still investigating the case,” Ramakatsa said.
