Share your healthcare hero story and win

Residents are invited to share their stories in a nationwide campaign acknowledging healthcare heroes.

In acknowledgement of Doctor’s Day (November 16), medical professional indemnity insurance provider, EthiQal has launched a ‘This is why we say thank you’ campaign. The campaign encourages residents to share their special healthcare hero stories, acknowledging the bravery of local doctors and medical professionals.

“The challenges that our medical professionals have confronted and overcome over the last year have been astounding,” said EthiQal executive, Alex Brownlee.

Healthcare hero stories can be shared on the dedicated Doctor’s Day webpage. Five lucky entrants who share their gratitude stories will each receive R1 000 in cash.

EthiQal will also donate R10 000 to the Healthcare Workers Care Network. This is a nationwide healthcare worker support network which offers all healthcare workers across the public and private sectors free support, pro bono therapy, resources, training and psychoeducation.

To qualify, participants must submit their stories at www.doctorsday.co.za, before November 25.
