Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg learner excels in gymnastics

PARKTOWN – Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg Grade 5 learner, Thomas Anamourlis was awarded Gauteng colours for men’s artistic gymnastics.

Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg Grade 5 learner, Thomas Anamourlis was awarded Gauteng colours for men’s artistic gymnastics.

Thomas is a member of the Gauteng gymnastics team, which represented Central Gauteng in the South African Gymnastics Championships which were held in October in Tshwane.

Thomas competed with distinction in the 10 to11 age category and earned silver medals in pommel horse and vault, bronze medals in parallel bars, horizontal bars and floor, and an all round third place (bronze medal) for the event.

The school is proud of Thomas for his excellent results, and his dedication and enthusiasm.
