Celebrating good company and good food

GREENSIDE – The Pirates Sports Grounds were abuzz over the weekend when the community gathered for the Vegan Hippie Connection Market.

The arrival of spring – and all things vegan – were celebrated at the Vegan Hippie Connection Market, held at Pirates Sports Club in Greenside on the weekend of September 5.

Visitors welcomed the sunny day and socialised over market-style food prepared on site. Dogs of all descriptions could be seen, expectant, as they pulled their owners along on their leashes, from stall to stall.
