In light of the matter of reckless drivers in Blairgowrie, and Blairgowrie Primary School asking drivers to slow down, Ward 117 councillor Tim Truluck has explained how a person or organisation can apply for traffic calming measures.

Any applicant wishing to apply for traffic calming (speed humps), must submit an application via one of the following two processes:

Here is the link to Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) traffic calming request page: https://www.jra.org.za/customer-service/traffic-calming-request

These documents must be submitted to the JRA traffic engineering division. All application are assessed in accordance with the City’s Traffic Calming Policy.
