Extend your kindness to those at the Rosebank Homeless Shelter
ROSEBANK – St Teresa's School set a fine example when staff and learners recently gave a generous donation towards the wellbeing of residents of The Sisters of Mercy Immaculata Homeless Shelter in Rosebank.
The Sisters of Mercy Immaculata Hall Homeless Shelter in Sturdee Avenue, Rosebank is a shelter for displaced people in the area.
The shelter accommodates 20 women and 80 men who sleep on the premises and receive two meals a day, breakfast and supper.

As they cannot accommodate all the people in need, they also run a daycare programme where they care for some of the displaced people in the area by providing them with a meal and a place to shower and do their laundry.

They also accept blankets and clothes which they distribute to those in need.
