Help a dog find a forever family

PARKTOWN NORTH – They will be open between 9:00 and 14:00 on Saturdays and Sundays for members of the public to view a variety of dogs looking to find forever homes.

Woodrock Animal Rescue’s pop-up shop, based in Parktown North, booked a whopping 27 dogs during the weekend of July 24 and 25.

The pop-up dog adoption centre, which operates from The Garden Shop off Jan Smuts Avenue, is fully operational under adjusted lockdown Level 3.

They will be open between 9:00 and 14:00 on Saturdays and Sundays to view a variety of dogs looking to find forever homes.

Woodrock also has a second-hand shop which sells various books and second-hand clothes. Donations are also welcome and staff are happy to collect donations by arrangement. For further information, call 074 735 1511.

If you would like to adopt an animal, you will be required to fill out a screening questionnaire and have a home visit before the dog can be taken home. The cost of the adoption is R950 per dog.
