Pridwin learners eager to be back at school

MELROSE – School marketing manager Demi-Rae le Roux said that distance learning was challenging for the boys, parents and teachers alike.

Pridwin Preparatory School learners were eager to get back to in-person learning on July 26 after a few weeks of distance learning.

School marketing manager Demi-Rae le Roux said distance learning was challenging for the boys, parents and teachers alike.

“The willingness to get back to normal learning processes is now demonstrably high… The readiness and enthusiasm of the parents, boys and staff was evident to adapt to the set of in-school rules that makes the safe management of the learning process possible during this shared Covid-19 reality,” said Le Roux.

A number of special precautionary measures have been implemented at the school to ensure learner safety. Some of these included specific arrival times per grade, strict cleaning and sterilising protocols, frequent wiping of desks etc.

Le Roux said teaching and estate staff at Pridwin have been vaccinated.
