The Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg (DSJ), based in Parktown, raised in excess of R10 000 for the Reach for a Dream Foundation recently.
DSJ marketing executive Annette Holtmann said, “As we know, 2020 was devastating for many South African lives, including the many children that benefit from the Reach for a Dream Foundation. Through the generosity and sense of community within the DSJ, we were able to raise in excess of R10 000 for this worthy cause.”
A total of 500 learners and teachers donned their slippers on 7 May, with a few additional cash donations also collected.
“Thank you to everyone who participated and donated,” said Holtmann.
