Parkhurst Clinic to host vaccine registration drive for over 60s

PARKHURST – Those who successfully register will receive a confirmation SMS within two days of registering.

Parkhurst Clinic is hosting Covid-19 vaccine registration drives for over 60s on 8, 15 and 22 May between 8am and 1pm.

Over 60s must have their ID and medical aid card (if they are on medical aid) ready when they arrive to register.

The City of Johannesburg Department of Health has said that it is important that those registering input the correct cell phone number, address and medical aid number (where applicable).

Locals can also register online using the Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS) on https://vaccine.enroll.health.gov.za/#/.

Those who successfully register will receive a confirmation SMS within two days of registering.

Ward 117 councillor Tim Truluck said that it is likely that medical aids will be involved in getting members vaccinated and people should look out for correspondence from their medical aids where applicable.

Truluck said that the Parkhurst Recreation Centre Hall next to the clinic will become a vaccination centre from 17 May.

Registration is necessary before members of the public can receive a vaccination.

The following other clinics will also be open at the same time for registration: Randburg Clinic, Berario Clinic and Windsor Clinic.
