Helping business owners find their way
HYDE PARK– The latest virtual entrepreneur workshop hosted by Hirsch's will take place on 12 February.
The virtual world is becoming more and more popular as we enter the second year of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Entrepreneurs are still trying to find their way and the good people from Hirsch’s are zooming in to help with their weekly entrepreneur workshops.
Hirsch’s executive director Margaret Hirsch and top business coach Marlene Powell from ActionCOACH South Africa asked the old question of knowing your ‘why’ as a business owner.
Guest speaker Harry Welby-Cooke, the master franchisor of ActionCOACH had no doubt that their audience could thrive during this difficult time. Congratulating the duo, he said that these workshops are indeed vital. “It’s people like Margaret and Marlene who are selflessly helping entrepreneurs to overcome challenges in their businesses who will ultimately help change the face of business in the country.”
He added that every course of action taken starts with a decision.
“When you go back to finding your ‘why’, it needs to be personal to you. What gets you up in the morning? What do you love doing? Where do you want to make a dent in the universe? The most successful companies in the world have made their why about their customers and their employees.”
With such motivational words, Hirsch and Powell’s guest this week is even more exciting!

On 12 February entrepreneurs will learn strategic planning from guest speaker and Durban ICC head Lindiwe Rakharebe.
