Safety protocols observed as learners go back to school

CRAIGHALL PARK – The school welcomed their junior primary learners on 1 February.

After welcoming their Grade 00 girls back to school on 19 January, St. Teresa’s School in Craighall Park was delighted to welcome their Grade 0, 1, 2 and 3 girls back to school on 1 February after starting the year off with online learning.

According to St Teresa’s Junior Primary School principal Lynne Elfick, “While the online learning has been highly successful, all the staff have missed the physical presence of the girls, the sound of their chatter and laughter, and the happy energy that fills the campus when the girls are here!”

Along with the staff, Elfick was on hand to oversee all the safety protocols and welcome the girls back to school.

“We all enjoyed watching the girls skip off to explore their new classrooms, reunite with their old friends and meet their new teachers and classmates for the year. Despite having their smiles hidden beneath face masks, their joy at being at back school was plain to see in their eyes and their excitement was palpable. We wish them a happy and successful 2021,” said computer educator and marketing liaison, Lianda May.
