Number of new Covid-19 cases continues to fall in Region B
JOBURG – REgion B includes the suburbs of Randburg, Rosebank, Emmarentia, Greenside, Melville, Mayfair, Northcliff, Parktown and Parktown North.
Covid-19 cases in Johannesburg’s Region B continue to fall.
The Gauteng Department of Health has confirmed that the region recorded 16 new cases in the last 24 hours and 225 cumulative Covid-19-related deaths as of 2 February.
The region includes the suburbs of Randburg, Rosebank, Emmarentia, Greenside, Melville, Mayfair, Northcliff, Parktown and Parktown North.

Neighbouring region, Region E recorded an increase of 29 new cases and 322 cumulative Covid-19-related deaths.
Suburbs in the region include Alexandra, Wynberg, Sandton, Orange Grove and Houghton.
The City of Johannesburg has recorded a total of 154 574 cases and 149 119 recoveries while 2 558 people have lost their lives to the novel virus.
