First day of school starts a little differently at DSJ

MILPARK – The first day of school was different for every young learner.

The first day of school was a little different this year.

While this did not happen as planned, there was a mammoth effort going on behind the scenes in December, at the Deutsche Internationale Schule Johannesburg (DSJ).

The Lernzentrum (armed with some very trusty volunteers), prepared the book orders for their learners.

Many of the young minds received their books and did not have the slightest idea as to how much work went into them getting their order. The process involves ordering, delivery, allocation, barcoding, covering, labelling and distributing – not forgetting countless hours of manual labour.

Keep your children’s minds busy with the Solve-It Squad online portal proudly sponsored by DSJ.

Learners even received a personalised nametag.
