Norwood Police Station spokesperson Sergeant Eric Masotsha confirmed that a man was arrested in connection with a murder.
“It is alleged that on 25 December last year, a deceased was stabbed to death in Orange Grove while he was trying to separate a couple who were fighting on the street,” said Masotsha. He added that the victim was stabbed by the man involved in the fight, and the suspect was arrested on the same day and will appear in court soon.
He said the deceased had been identified by his next of kin.
