Pridwin boys practice their public speaking

MELROSE – The festival's external adjudicator Gwenda Krezmar had nothing but praise for the high standard that she had to judge.

Pridwin Preparatory School in Melrose was excited to go ahead with their annual Speech Festival in this unprecedented year.

Marketing manager at the school, Demi-Rae Le Roux said the finalists did need to speak to a limited audience.

“This was such a great pity as the majority of the grades were not there to support their peers and enjoy the excellent speeches,” added Le Roux.
