City Power has announced that a planned power outage will take place in Johannesburg CBD and along Main Street on Tuesday, 11 August.
The power interruption will take place from 9am and end at 4pm on the same day.
“The power interruption is necessary to do essential maintenance work on our network which is part of our programme of constantly striving to provide better service,” said City Power in a released statement.

Residents are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times as the supply may be restored at any time.
City Power apologised for any inconvenience that may be caused by these interruptions.
