Joburg Water has urged residents to take note of a planned water interruption on 28 July.
The suburbs that will be affected by the interruption are Hyde Park, Saxonwold, Houghton Estate, Rosebank, Parktown North, Parkhurst and Dunkeld. All streets will be affected from 9am until 6pm on 28 July, during which time there will be no water.
Joburg Water explained that the reason for the interruption is to facilitate a tie-in to new water pipes, instal fire hydrants and link pipes.
Residents are encouraged to visit Joburg Water’s website, www.johannesburgwater.co.za and select the SMS notification services for alerts on planned and unplanned services.
