Covid-19: Rosebank SAPS closed temporarily for decontamination

ROSEBANK – Community members will be notified when the station will be functioning again.

All communities serviced by Rosebank Police Station are advised that the police station has been temporarily closed. According to SAPS provincial spokesperson Brigadier Mathapelo Peters, this is for decontamination after two of the station members tested positive for Covid-19.

“The Community Service Centre will be operating from the caravan standing outside the police station. The community is advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which need to be attended by Rosebank Police Station,” Brigadier Peters said.

She added that the telephone lines at Rosebank Police Station Community Service Centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure.

Brigadier Peters said, “The building will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be operational again. The SAPS management apologises for any inconvenience that may arise from this.”
