Covid-19 cases in Joburg’s northern suburbs reach 443

SANDTON – The City of Johannesburg has confirmed six additional cases of Covid-19 with a total of 875 recoveries and 110 unallocated cases.

The Gauteng Department of Health has confirmed that Covid-19 cases in the City of Johannesburg have risen to 1085 as of 11 May.

The City confirmed six additional cases with a total of 875 recoveries and 110 unallocated cases.

The northern suburbs of regions B and E remain at the epicentre of the virus outbreak in Johannesburg with a combined total of 443.

Region B, which includes Randburg, Rosebank, Emmarentia, Greenside, Melville, Mayfair, Northcliff, Parktown and Parktown North, has remained at 164 cases.

Region E, which includes Alexandra, Wynberg, Sandton, Orange Grove and Houghton, saw an increase of one case to 279.
