Covid-19: SANDF members confiscate dozens of boxes of cigarettes

Members of the South African National Defence Force are conducting roadblocks across the country,

Members of the South African National Defence Force made a number of arrests on 30 April for a number of offences including the transportation of cigarettes and liquor.

In Mpumalanga, one man was arrested with cigarettes and whisky during a roadblock on R571 Managa Road on the border of Mozambique.

In another incident, a roadblock at the T-Junction of the Macadamia Military Base led to the confiscation of a box of gin, three plastic bags with dagga and one pack of cigarettes.

In Beitbridge, SANDF members conducted a successful waylay operation in which they confiscated 30 master boxes of cigarettes.
